A 16-inch unidentified metal object, in the shape of a hook, crashed through a roof of a parked card on Tuesday in Delaware, US. The mysterious piece was turned over to the FAA personnel and spokesman Jim Peters stated that they were confident the object didn’t originate from an airplane. There had been no reports of planes missing bits or pieces.
Susan Wilson, whose car took the damage, was in a drugstore when the incident happened. When she returned to her car, she found ash and debris on the driver’s seat and a gaping hole in the roof, in the rear floor the piece of metal still smoldering.
