A match made in heaven Malaysia:
When a woman in her late 20’s receives a marriage proposal from 60-year old farmer, what does she do?
A 28-year-old estate worker in Malaysia was the love marriage interest to a 60-year old farmer and when she turned down his proposal, he went and forced the woman into his car while she was walking home from work. Luckily a a friend of the woman witnessed the kidnapping and informed the police. They contacted the farmer’s family and several hours after lots of persuading she was released unharmed. The man apparently changed his mind about his bride to be when he knew that the police was involved and surrendered.
Initially the families reportedly agreed to the marriage but the woman didn’t want to go ahead with it which infuriated the farmer.
Freed from custody, he is now under investigation.
