Most people have only been aware of the terrorism threat ever since 9/11. Attacks prior to that fateful day, although acknowledged and headlined by the media around the globe, were easily forgotten. It was that very horrific incident of two planes causing mass destruction and fear, that really raised awareness of probably the most dangerous threat in history.
According to the USA Today, the terror watch list has dramatically increased to 755,000 names, an increase of more than 200,000 people per year. Link
