One Laptop Per Child – The Sale Has Started [Limited Time Only]

Exactly 11 days left. The Give-One, Get-One program from has started and for another 11 days people can purchase one, well actually you have to purchase two to get one. You buy two and one goes to a poor child in a developing country.

Between November 12 and November 26, OLPC is offering a Give One Get One program in the United States and Canada. During this time, you can donate the revolutionary XO laptop to a child in a developing nation, and also receive one for the child in your life in recognition of your contribution.

I like the XO laptop and I think it’s absolutely stupid to not offer it to kids all over the world. Charge a bit more than it actually costs and donate the money. I know I would love one of those, but since it’s not actually available, I have set my eye on the Asus EEE…best alternative I could find.
