No "Mail" In The Mailbox [Junk And Bills Is All There Is]

Perhaps I’m just being slightly nostalgic but despite the fabulous electronic mail I sorta miss handwritten letters and postcards. I haven’t received any in years and checking my e-mail got me thinking of the good ole times when I had penpals. Yeah you know actual people that sat down and wrote letters, placed stamps on them and posted them. Writing, posting then it took at least a couple weeks until you got a reply, maybe longer maybe less.

Handwritten notes are obsolete. E-mail has revolutionized our communication in a great way, everybody’s become so available. Typing quick notes under a minute and receiving replies almost instantly is fantastic but somehow there was something very charming and personal about letters…but they times, they are a-changing…
