Books Digitalized… Introducing Amazon’s Kindle: Future Of Reading?

Technorati tags: , , , , ,

Ok the idea isn’t new and it isn’t the first e-book reader either, but, it’s made by Amazon.

According to Amazon, it’s more than a device, it’s a service cause EDVO wireless connection will let you download content to your Kindle, anytime, anywhere. It’s being released today and is priced at $400.

What it does

The advantage here to the Sony e-book reader for instance is the direct download to the device. Sony required you to download content to your computer and then onto your reader. Kindle also looks prettier.

It has a 6-inch 800 x 600 display, 256MB storage, two-thumb keyboard cursor bar, scroll wheel, standard mini USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, SD slot and EV-DO data.

Is it worth the money?

I wouldn’t spend my money on the Kindle…yet, $400 could buy you a ton of books off Amazon… I like the idea though but another thing would be the book prices, publishers would hardly go below $10
