Google Vs. Wikipedia
“Knol” it is called and it’ll be another Google thing. The G-phenomenon is going after the community encyclopedia and could very well become just as or even more popular. “Knol” a sort of abbreviation of “knowledge”, will be a service aiming to be like Wikipedia, allowing people to share information.
I think it’s certainly interesting to see how “Knol” will function and whether it could ever replace Wikipedia… which I doubt. I like Wikipedia, it may not always be the best and most accurate source for research or finding information but it is one of the places to start off online.
