I never wanted to be a paramedic. Even though I think they are doing an amazing job, this kinda thing doesn’t really appeal to me.
First Responders, EMTs and Paramedics do have a tough job. Everything that comes with it can be quite overwhelming. Naturally, they should stay up to date with the latest and participate in further training.
The National Paramedic Institute provides continuing education for First Responders, EMTs and Paramedics. Their EMS online training center provides all kinds of material, from IFSTA firefighting training videos to mandatory Bloodborne Pathogens or AIDS training.
They also offer CPR recertification, online AED training, and the Dr. Bryan Bledsoe lecture series. Useful indeed.
