World Record Feast: Mechoui Grill

A French cook has prepared the world’s largest mechoui grill — spit-roasting a 550-kg camel for 15 hours at a seaside Moroccan town south of Rabat.

I’m not sure about Camel… but the whole thing looked pretty good. It’s not the first time for french cook Christian Falco, he has previously split roasted the world’s largest slab of beef, 985.5 kg, in 1996.

For the camel he used 2.7 tonnes of wood and 15 litres of oil! Apparently the next thing he will throw on the barbie is a bison in Costa Rica.
