"James Bond" Makes It Hard For MI6 To Recruit New Spies

“I think sometimes we’re hindered by it _ because I think it gives people a false impression of what working for the organization is actually like,” said the official.

“It does tend to turn up quite a lot of thrill seekers and fantasists and we’re really not interested in them.”

I’d actually like to meet those people who think that working for Britain’s intelligence agencies involves jetting around the world with über cool dangerous gadgets and constantly being surrounded by super-model lookalikes.

However, nobody wants to know what working at MI6 really is like, we’d rather watch Pierce Brosnan Daniel Craig making use of his licence to kill, catch terrorists and blow everything up all in one go. That’s fun.
