Dogs In Drags – Nicaraguan Mass
As part of an annual ritual, dogs dressed up as babies, clowns and such in Nicaragua. In a mass in Masaya, the owners then pray for their pets to be cured or avoid falling sick.
The whole celebration reaches it’s climax when the Catholics pass by an image of a saint in a tiny church with their pets.
I don’t think this has much to do with religion, it’s just an excuse to stuff a pet into clothing and take pics and go all awwww on them.
