Gourmet Coffee? Animal Droppings Blend Sold For £50/Cup

_44555410_rarecoffee_170pa Um, no thanks. I’m a coffee drinker but I don’t think I would pay £50 for a cup of coffee made out of animal droppings.

I have read about certain types of coffee, the expensive type and how it’s actually made of animal dung… but um, I am not eager to try it.

For now, I am perfectly fine with plant based coffee.

Caffee Raro is apparently the most expensive cup of coffee in the world and it’s made out of Jamaican Blue Mountain and Kopi Luwak beans. Kopi Luwak beans are eaten, then passed, by the Asian palm civet. Eventually they are sold for £324 per kilo.

civet So this is the little cat-like bugger that literally shits in your coffee…the Asian palm civet. It’s rather cute I think but I still wouldn’t drink it’s droppings.
