18 hours in police cell for dropping an apple core – this is Britain
I actually wasn’t surprised to read about the guy who spent 18 hours in a police cell and had his DNA taken for “dropping an apple core”.
Despite strenuously denying the allegation, the former plumber, who has a heart condition, was taken into custody by up to five uniformed officers and had his DNA and fingerprints taken.
I can see the police is trying to concentrate on catching criminals again. This is just absolutely stupid and shouldn’t have happened. What a waste of tax payers money and resources. I mean, how stupid can you get? Locking a guy up for dropping an apple core… I guess policemen dealing with real crime is out of fashion.
