Nasa Plans Landing On Asteroid Travelling Towards Earth
I don’t know why… but this strangely reminds me of “Armageddon”: Apparently Nasa is planning to land on an asteroid which is travelling towards Earth at a speed of 28,000mph.
According to scientists, the asteroid will narrowly miss our planet in 60 years time and Nasa wants to send spacemen to study the big rock – this might help to prepare for future asteroid strikes.
I think what’s really scary about this is, no matter how advanced our technology might be, I doubt we can be absolutely certain that the Earth won’t get struck by a massive asteroid.
All scientists really can come up with are predictions. So I guess “Armageddon” could very well happen.
